If anyone still reads this…

Shreya is working on a new awesome site, so sorry for the HUGE lack of updates in the past few months.

Also, Harry Potter club has officially started again! Meetings are now moved to TUESDAYS and are every other week. Speaking of meetings, Shreya also has planned something really awesome, but it needs to be approved by the school first.

Hopefully I’ll be updating more. If anyone still looks at this site.

Hey, Westview Harry Potter nerds!
Just a few updates about the club:
Nina gave us an extra copy of Chamber of Secrets…so now we will all read it and write our notes in it! Currently it has been through Katie and me (Vivian). I will most likely give it to someone else in the next 2 days.
Another thing, there have been 3 TV spots out for HBP. Enjoy!!

Grindelwald Rumor

You are looking at the actor who is rumored to play Grindelwald–JOHNNY DEPP.
No, I’m just kidding (happy late April Fool’s!); the guy standing behind him is rumored to play Dumbledore’s childhood friend (or lover).
Jamie Campbell-Bower was also recently cast as Volturi vampire Caius in New Moon.

3/6/9 Meeting

Sorry for the cancellation of the meeting on Friday. Only about 1.5 people actually read the chapters. I was very disappointed, so there was no meeting.
Next week I hope that we come up with something to do for the rest of the year, as reading Half-Blood Prince is not a good option.

(Nina went to the Interclub meeting and reported that now, 10% of club money earned at an event must be paid to ASB.)

I think as a club we need to spread ourselves out a bit more; we should start putting up new posters and I am thinking of changing our website to a different server so we can start fresh. Vivian has been leading some good discussions and I think a lot of people would be into rereading HBP before the movie comes out. Tell me what you guys think. If I get good feedback, I’ll work on the new site…

*UPDATE FROM VIVIAN: Also, don’t forget to read Chapters 2 AND 3 of Half-Blood Prince by Friday! I was upset that only two of us had read it. But I’m giving you guys one more chance! So PLEASE don’t forget…you have one whole week.
