Great Meeting 3/20/09
Hey Harry Potter Club, congratulations on a great meeting!
We played Screw/Marry/Kill. That was hilarious!
Also, we are rewatching all of the movies to prepare for the 6th one….
SO ENCOURAGE FRIENDS TO COME! After club rush only 1 new person came.
But great job, I can’t wait until next week!

3/6/9 Meeting
Sorry for the cancellation of the meeting on Friday. Only about 1.5 people actually read the chapters. I was very disappointed, so there was no meeting.
Next week I hope that we come up with something to do for the rest of the year, as reading Half-Blood Prince is not a good option.

new vocabulary
we need to somehow make Westview feel like Hogwarts, even though southern California is NOTHING like Scotland. here’s my suggestion. from now on, all the classes named will be addressed as their Hogwarts counterpart:
Chemistry = Potions
Foreign Language = Ancient Runes
History = History of Magic (make references to goblin rebellions to make this more fun)
Biology = Care of Magical Creatures
Other Science = Transifiguration
Math = Arithmancy
Computers = Muggle Studies
