Severus Snape
The last Harry Potter book may have come out, but we all still have our own opinions on the Hogwarts potion master. Here is the place to state them! Snape is such a complex character that a discussion on him will never die; it will just get complicated and/or frustrating. Go ahead; post your opinion, I dare you

If you don't know where to start, here's a basic prompt question: Do you even like him?

he is so sour, but the chapter in Deathly Hallows revealed a lot, and sorta changes my mind about him. he’s so emo

My opinion of him constantly changed through out the whole series, but now that it’s all over, i can definitely say that i like him. Snape is awesome possum!

I still hate him. Well, actually, he’s okay, maybe I’m a little softer about him after the 7th book. But still, he’s so vain, he hated Harry. But I felt soo bad after he died. But I always feel bad when someone dies in Harry Potter, so that’s not saying much…

okay so pretty much in the first 6 books i really didn’t like snape but then after i read that one chapter in the 7th book i was like uhh so i guess he is okay. that chapter was really sweet and it made me very happy/sad

GO SNAPE! He is awesome. He treated Harry badly in all the books, plus he is a good guy. Amazing. Good job Rowling, love the unecessary complicatedness!

1) first, his name. very cute.
2) his accent. he swears in the movie and you can’t even tell because his accent is so thick

Harry just goes through mood changes…honestly talk about MENOPAUSE!! but, all around he tries to do the right thing. even if he doesn’t know how.
yes, I think Oliver Wood says “damn” some time while he’s explaining the rules of Quidditch to Harry in the first movie.
